Monday (Week 3)
Praise the Lord!I feel better! :) Fully energized and ready to go- the team is ready to work too! We divided up and went to two villages, Samboleni and Naiou. Each of these villages were new last week, so it was great to go back again and work with them. We shared the story of Zacheus and did the crafts and games with the kids. Afterwards everyone kind of split up and started hanging out with small groups of people. We each had more one on one time with the people there to share about Jesus with them. We got to share the evangicube with them, and they were looking forward to us coming back tomorrow morning. In the evening we went out into two other villages. We decided to try Camarasu youth rally again and then a newer village, Tagu, wants to host its first Bible study. With Camarasu, the youth rally went well. The youth loved it, and many of them were so interested in hearing our testimonies. As we were leaving Camarasu though, the leader of the village came out. He was yelling at us in Romanian telling us that we had no right to be there. We weren't allowed to come back. This again was a huge discouragement. We have tried and tried with this youth rally. We are struggling because so many youth have prayed and cried out for this youth rally to happen. With all of these doors closing though, we have to ask whether it is God's will it happens now or is it the devil trying to discourage us!? Please continue praying for this village and wisdom for us to know what to do the rest of the week. The other group went to Tagu. They were unsure of what to expect. Daniel has tried to hold Bible studies there before, but they always cancelled on him before. There is only one believer there, so our hopes were that she would still open her home. When they got there they started telling everyone about the Bible study. They were expecting anywhere from 0-10 people. God had other plans. :) 130 people showed up on the hillside that day. There were kids, youth, and adults everywhere. This of course was a blessing!!!God took what we thought would be good, only to prove how AMAZING He is! This opened so many doors, and we are so excited to see what is to come in Tagu! Peace and love!!
